Cornwall Council is reminding people to pick up their pet’s mess following an increase in reports of dog fouling during lockdown.
Under the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act it is an offence to allow a dog to foul in a public place and fail to remove the faeces. read more »

2021/2022 Precept Demand
Hayle Town Council’s Precept will increase this year by 5.9%. The final Precept for 2021/22 is £635,784.
The Town Council uses the precept funding to continue to provide many services such as public realm CCTV, public conveniences, footpaths maintenance and management of all open spaces, including Hayle Recreation Ground and King George V Memorial Walk, the Open-Air Swimming Pool, Hayle Community Centre and Hayle Library. Additionally, the Town Council continues to work with and support a number of groups and organisations in the town annually, including Hayle Day Care Centre, Hayle in Bloom, Hayle Decorative Lights and it also contributes to the work of the Towans Ranger. read more »
