A total of 16 coronavirus clusters have been recorded in Cornwall - almost double the number of clusters recorded in the previous week (September 12 to 18).

A government-operated dashboard, which highlights clusters of more than two infections in a specific area, shows several new clusters across the county, including Penzance.

The latest data, which includes the number of cases confirmed between September 17 and September 23, shows that there were 122 new confirmed cases in the county.

The number of clusters has almost doubled since the previous week. Read more here.

The biggest cluster was in Pool and Illogan Highway with a total of 30 new confirmed cases. This is likely due to the coronavirus outbreak at the Cornish food factory Pilgrim's Pride in Pool.

The clusters reported elsewhere in the county are as follows:

In Camborne East, South and West, there were 16, eight and seven new cases respectively. As well as three new cases in Illogan and Portreath.

In Newquay, there were a total of seven new cases reported during the same time period - with three and four in the Newquay East and Newquay West areas respectively.

In Redruth, there were 17 new cases reported during the time period - with 10 and seven cases in Redruth South and North respectively.

Roche and Goss Moor also had 10 new cases reported during the time period.

And in Bodmin there were a total of 10 cases reported - with five new cases in both Bodmin West and Bodmin East.

In Penzance, there were a total of seven new cases reported - with three and four in the Penzance North and Penzance Quay areas respectively.

There were also three new cases confirmed in Lanreath, Pelynt and Polruan and four in Crowan, Wenron and Stithian.
