Come to a meeting at 7:30pm on Friday 8th March 2019 at the community centre where we can work together to benefit the village even more.

Defibrillators are most effective when placed so they can be accessed as quickly as possible, and ideally within 3 minutes.

With the village having two hills and a long road along the river, that's a challenge with a single defibrillator. So the defibrillator team has been working on getting more defibrillators to cover the village.

They've managed to access enough funding to get three more defibrillators for the village.

A quarter of a century ago, Class 50s Nos. 50050 and 50007 left London Waterloo for Penzance, returning east to Paddington for their final British Rail journey. On this Saturday excursion, we are repeating the itinerary, this time from Paddington and returning to Waterloo with two Class 50s at the business end giving us over 600 miles of English Electric power, courtesy of the Class 50 Alliance.
