Talks are held on the first Friday of each month at The Passmore Edwards Institute, Hayle at 7.30 pm. All are welcome.

Head along to the Passmore Edwards Institute for “Arsenic production and use ”, a talk by Kingsley Rickard which forms part of the Hayle Old Cornwall Society winter programme.

Meetings are held at 7.30pm.

Entrance to members £1 and to visitors £2.50.

Membership £8 per year.

NAWT are holding a Fun Dog Show, with rosettes 1st - 5th place, goodie bags for 1st place winners and trophies for Reserve and Best in Show and Best Rescue, at Hayle Recreation Ground.

There'll also be food and refreshments available along with stalls selling a variety of items!

100 Club Prize Draw last Sunday of the month for 10 months.

Prizes are £25 or a pair of cinema tickets every month.

Colin carried out a survey of Godrevy Warren last year and will share some of his vast knowledge of the area’s plants with us. We may well head up around the headland as well. Meet in National Trust (NT) car park at Godrevy (the one with the main cafe) at 10.00am on Thursday 30 May 2019. Fee payable for non-NT members. Likely to finish 3.00pm or later.

Ranger Martin Rule will bring tools, gloves, tea, coffee and biscuits, but please make sure you bring some lunch and appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for working in the exposed Towans’ environment.

Road Closure – Roseworthy

27 March to 5 April 2019

Due to resurfacing works the road through Roseworthy will be closed between 0730 and 1700 on Mondays to Fridays from 27 March to 5 April. During the closure hours First Kernow services T1 and T2 will operate diversions. Customer notice for Roseworthy and Commercial Road closures.
