Cow rescue and car in a hedge all in a day's work for Bude...
It was a busy night for fire crews in north Cornwall who not only had to rescue a cow from a slurry pit but also had to recover a car stuck upside down in a hedge.

Crowds will head to St Agnes next week for return of popular RNLI...
Crowds will be drawn to St Agnes from far and wide this Monday (August 14) for the return of the annual St Agnes RNLI Lifeboat Day.
The ever-popular fundraising event will be held at Trevaunance Cove, giving people the chance to see the boats up close and meet the crew.
Hundreds head to the beach each year to watch as RNLI volunteer teams from around Cornwall take part in demonstrations, showing off life-saving rescue techniques, procedures and even a capsize drill.

Bad parking delays Lostwithiel firefighters en route to fire
Firefighters in a picturesque riverside town are growing increasingly frustrated with residents and holidaymakers parking without any care and blocking their access as they go out on life-saving jobs.

One man wanted for crimes in Manchester has been arrested on his way to Boardmasters and two others have been arrested for driving while on drugs, police chiefs in Cornwall have revealed.
The arrests were made as part of Operation Allied Wolf, which aims to keep Cornwall's busiest music festival safe and as free of crime as possible.
Chief Inspector Adrian Leisk said that 150 vehicles were stopped in Newquay as part of the operation.

More than 7,000 people have turned up to hospital in Cornwall and requested help to remove a foreign object which has become wedged in a body cavity.
According to new figures, in the past four years medics at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust (RCHT) have treated an average of four people a day who have reported something is in their body which shouldn't be there.

10 people rescued off Isles of Scilly after Fastnet yacht rudder...
Ten crew members on board a Fastnet yacht had to be rescued off the Isles of Scilly after their rudder broke down. The 39ft yacht was 77 nautical miles north west of the islands when it encountered troubles and its rudder failed. A man had to be rescued from one of Cornwall's beach landmarks after he climbed up it but could not come back down.
A full scale rescue operation was launched after the man had climbed Crinnis Island at Carlyon Bay near St Austell but found himself unable to get back down.
His friends called 999 and a coastguard cliff rescue team from the town attended the incident on Friday, August 11.
