A man and woman serving life for the barbaric murder of a 63-year-old Camborne man have seen their appeals against conviction thrown out by top judges.
Michelle Casterton, 45, and Daniel John Quinn, 25, were jailed for the murder of Terry Oldham, who died after he was assaulted with a broom handle.
A third offender, 26-year-old Aaron Mallen, was also caged after the trio were convicted at Truro Crown Court in November 2015.

Plymouth police have dropped a murder investigation after the results of a post mortem on a sailor in his twenties were released.
A woman aged 25 had been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 24-year-old man was found dead at a property in Ermington Terrace, Mutley.
Officers had been called to the scene at 5.15am on Sunday after concerns were raised for a man at the property.
The 24-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The builders of a controversial biogas plant in Cornwall are facing large fines for safety breaches which led to the death of dad-to-be working at the site.
Ionel Soci, 34, was crushed to death when a temporary wooden structure used for pouring concrete collapsed on him on the site where the Greener for Life plant was being built at Higher Fraddon, Exeter Crown Court heard.

Three people were cut off by the tide at the spectacular Hell's Mouth cliffs today.
The three people in wetsuits were down at the base of the cliffs, which plunge dramatically straight down into the sea all along that stretch of coastline.
Hell's Mouth is a gaping hole, where the sea has eroded the cliffs to create a huge void. The site is a popular place for tourists to look down at the waves below.

One week on since flash flooding swept through the pretty seaside village of Coverack, much as returned to normal.
On July 18, the village on the Lizard peninsula was engulfed in torrents of water which swept through houses and shops and ripped up the roads. Water poured over the seawall like a waterfall. By a miracle no one was seriously injured although one woman was almost swept to her death and another couple had to be airlifted from their flooded home by the coastguard helicopter.
