Sustainable Hayle are hosting their monthly Repair Café at Hayle Day Care Centre this Saturday, 10th October from 10.30am to 12.30pm. They can look at repairing bikes, clothing and small electrical items (max 3 per person).

After the repair cafe, they invite you to join them for the Sustainable Hayle AGM. There will be an update on all the projects and the finances for the past year, as well as plans for the future. Everyone is welcome!

There is some anti-social behaviour on land adjacent to the RSPB car park in Hayle, See map attached. The main cause is a missing chain and padlock on your vehicle barrier, therefore allowing vehicles to drive up under the A30 viaduct. There has been trespass, overnight camping, littering, drug dealing and arson. We would like for the gate to be securely locked shut to prevent unlawful use and the impact this has on our site and our visitors.

It was wonderful to see so many community groups and organisations come out to parade and take part in the church service with us yesterday. We were thrilled to also be joined by the High Sheriff of Cornwall and representatives from other local Councils.
