St Michaels Mount
Join us for a day trip to the beautiful county of Cornwall. Starting early in Birmingham International and calling at Birmingham New Street, Barnt Green, Droitwich, Worcester, Cheltenham, Cam & Dursley & Bristol. We anticipate to have around 5 hours in Penzance to allow you to experience its Mazey Day celebrations, alternatively we are offering a range of optional add-on destinations for your afternoon break in the county. On leaving Bristol, we skirt the Somerset Levels and head through Exeter to travel along one of the most iconic stretches of coastal track on the rail network followed by an assault on the Devon Banks. With Plymouth behind us we enter Cornwall on the Royal Albert Bridge, an iconic 19th Century bridge spanning the river Tamar designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
On reaching Cornwall we offer set downs at BODMIN PARKWAY, offering an afternoon visit to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway*, PAR for a road coach transfer to the idyllic Lost Gardens of Heligan* or the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey*. TRURO, a bustling Cathedral City or remain on the train to the lines end at PENZANCE and join the Mazey Day celebrations or take our road coach transfer to Lands End*, Cornwalls most Westerly point. We are also offering the opportunity of a pleasure flight* from Lands End Aerodrome taking in views of the Isles of Scilly and the West Cornwall Coast.
