Blooming Hayle Gets Gold Again!

A group of Hayle in Bloomers travelled to Weston Super Mare on Thursday September 20 to learn the result of the 2012 South West in Bloom competition. To everyone’s delight, the only Gold awarded in the region was to Hayle! This meant that the town was also the winner of the Preece cup, the highest accolade. Plus an amazing six Neighbourhood awards as well. These were for: The King George V Memorial Walk, Hayle Library Wildlife Garden. The Railway Walk, The Adopt-A-Plotters, Bob Lloyd’s Meadow, and Lethlean Lane Allotments.

Chairman Margaret Tanner says a huge thank you to each and everyone involved in Hayle in Bloom.
