While reading the planning application for the redesign of the Shell Petrol station PA14/07582 I noticed condition 3 of the decision notice [http://docs.planning.cornwall.gov.uk/rpp/showimage.asp?j=PA14/07582&index=12410567&DB=8&DT=4]:

The sales building hereby approved shall be used solely as ancillary to the petrol
filling station granted approval under W1/85/0522 dated 28.10.1985 and shall
not be used as a separate retail use.

The site is not covered by any landscape designation but is within the setting of AONB which lies 4km to the north. It should also be viewed as the landscape setting for Grade II listed railway viaduct. Consult HES.

Network Rail drop in session | Hayle Community Centre

Network Rail have arranged a drop in session where members of the public can find out more about the project to renew the timber deck and repair the steel elements of Hayle Viaduct (1410 | NETWORK RAIL PLANNED WORKS TO HAYLE VIADUCT). It will be held at Hayle Community Centre (Room 7), 58 Queensway, on Tuesday 28 October between 3pm and 7pm
