It's free to join the Mobile Library, and there is no fine if you are overdue with your books.
There is a lift for easier access.

It is hard not to be a little cynical about the future of Hayle if you are resident.
We have been promised much over past decades and seen most promises fail to bear fruit. We must have cornered the market in artists' impressions and feasibility studies but we still confront a wretched wasteland where any self- respecting town would have a captivating waterside development in harmony with the stunning seascape.

A newly refurbished traditional inn, that dates from 1755. This was originally known as 'The Lamb'. It owes its establishment to the Angarrack tin smelting house, which once operated nearby. The pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere complete with log fire in the winter. Situated in a small village it is surrounded by picturesque views and close to Hayle's 3 miles of golden sands. read more »
