Change of use from holiday accommodation to permanent residence - The Old Mill Angarrack Hayle Cornwall TR27 5JD

Ref. No: PA13/09219 | Received date: Tue 08 Oct 2013 | Status: Pending Consideration | Case Type: Application

OLD MILL, TRUNGLE MILL, RIVERSIDE, ANGARRACK, HAYLE, TR27 5JD

Permission was granted in September 2004 for the conversion of a disused barn into holiday accommodation.

The property is owned by Doctor and Mrs Sugrue, who also own and reside in 32 Trungle Mill, the adjoining property.

It is intended that Mrs Sugrue's elderly mother purchases Old Mill in order to make it her permanent residence as the immediate proximity will make it extremely convenient for any future requirements regarding health issues, care, etc.

The structure and appearance of the property will remains as existing, with no material change whatsoever.  In fact, the proposed change of use would have the effect of reducing traffic to the property and, as there would be just the one occupant, there would be less strain on services, drainage etc than with the current unrestricted holiday use.

Thank you for consulting the Ramblers. On provision that Footpath 101/20, of GOLD status, is not affected in any way, we have no objection to the application
