2010 Winners of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Awards

The winners of the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Awards 2010 were announced at a celebratory lunch at The Headland Hotel in Newquay on Tuesday 28 September. Nominees and guests enjoyed a fabulous locally sourced three-course meal prepared by Head Chef Lee Groves. The event was held in honour of the wonderful food and drink producers and suppliers in Cornwall, and winners and finalists were voted for by readers and members of the public.

 

Guest speaker James Strawbridge spoke about the importance of using locally sourced food and drink, while Daphne Skinnard from BBC Radio Cornwall took to the stage to compère the presentation of the awards.
