Major incident now stood down.@CornwallCouncil now leading the way on support & recovery.
A superb response to this by about a dozen agencies this afternoon. Around 30 properties flooded, my thoughts with them all.

Replying to
So many hard working people but my specific thanks to (and others I can’t find on twitter), all of whom were in the Cornwall Emergency Centre this afternoon.
We’re all sleeping ‘with our boots on’, ready to reopen Cornwall Emergency Centre if required.
- on behalf of Hayle Policing team, what a community we have in Hayle! All pulling together in what’s been a very unexpected and difficult day for the Hayle community, especially the properties and businesses effected by the flooding. Thoughts are with you all.
