The wonderful Angarrack Christmas Lights Elves will be hard at work putting up the lights on Saturday 27th.

This year's display should be bigger and better than ever - and should see the debut of the hotly anticipated 12th Day of Christmas - Twelve Drummers Drumming.

Volunteers always welcome - 8am start at the crossroads. Even if you can only manage a few hours, your help is gratefully received. Bacon sarnies!

At the last event that the Hayle Friends of St Julia's Hospice held at Angarrack Community Centre, the "Easy Listening" music was provided by the G8 Band, and was enjoyed by all.

The total raised for the evening was £626, which was marvellous; everyone was able to enjoy a finger buffet, together with the grand raffle.

Very grateful thanks were expressed to all who contributed in any way in raising this amount; the band, the donors of raffle prizes, all who enjoyed the evening, and everyone who supported the evening.

Vandals targeting dog bins

A SPATE of vandalism targeting dog mess bins is costing taxpayers hundreds of pounds.

Vandals have carried out a series of attacks across Hayle and 13 bins have been damaged.

Cornwall Council is now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.  read more »
