The new car park will provide 276 parking spaces to accommodate both visitors to North Quay and to the beaches, replacing Towans Beach Car Park, to allow for dune restoration. A single-storey WC with external showers, cycle parking and information is proposed close to the southern entrance to the car park accessed from thenew spine road.There will also be provision for a small coach park with drop off and turning space immediately north of the sub-station, accessed from North Quay Road

The enclosed application seeks approval of Reserved Matters
pursuant to Outline permission PA13/01370 for the Hilltop Car Park,
Hayle Harbour.
The Hilltop Car Park consists of:

  • 276 car parking spaces including 14 blue badge holder spaces (area to provide for boat storage during the Winter);
  • 4 coach parking spaces;
  • 12 motorcycle spaces; and
  • A WC block, including 3 WC’s, 1 WC/ baby changing, 1 disabled WC, external showers and bicycle parking.
